May 12--Lake County should be included in federal legislation to study storage options in the Arkansas Valley, the president of the Southeastern Colorado Water Conservancy District said Wednesday following a meeting with Lake County commissioners.
Southeastern President Bill Long, Vice President Harold Miskel and Chaffee County director Reed Dils traveled to Leadville on Wednesday to meet with commissioners about their request to be a part of the Preferred Storage Options Plan legislation.
