Hungary's largest telecommunications company, Magyar Telekom Rt., said Thursday that the company will delay its annual general meeting due to the ongoing audit of Magyar Telekom's financial statements.

The AGM was to be held at end of April 2006.

The exact date of the AGM and the amount of the proposed dividend payment will be announced as soon as the audit process is closed and the board of directors has made the necessary decisions.
