Falling short of being an art-school "Animal House," "Art School Confidential" is nevertheless an edgy, entertaining postmodern comedy.
Directed by Terry Zwigoff ("Crumb"), collaborating once again with his "Ghost World" and "Bad Santa" writing partner Daniel Clowes, "Art School Confidential" takes its name from sleazy pulp magazines of the 1950s and is such a deeply cynical look at the East Coast art-school scene, it might as be shot in Jaundice-O-Vision.
