It's the one question that will probably spring immediately to mind the minute you set foot inside The Kail Yard Green ... is there a onearmed Irishman washing the dishes in the kitchen?
In terms of size and decor, this cosy little bistro bears an uncanny resemblance to Robin's Nest, the tiny restaurant run by Richard O'Sullivan and his missus in the old ITV sitcom.
The snug interior has scrubbed up pretty well and the food is described as "contemporary Scottish with Mediterranean influences".
