Article: DBM pegs 2007 budget at P1.136 trillion.(Business)

The Department of Budget and Management has officially issued the budget call for fiscal year 2007, pegging the obligation budget ceiling at P1.136 trillion, which is P72.3 billion or 6.8 percent higher than the 2006 level.

The proposed 2006 ceiling is premised on projected revenues of P1.113.9 trillion, 14.4 percent higher than the expected revenue collection of P974.1 billion this year.

The budget call sets the guidelines and procedures in the preparation of next year budget proposals.
