May 13--Outlook Lanes appears on the verge of closing, leaving Pueblo with two bowling alleys. Outlook Lanes, the only bowling alley on the North Side since Belmont Lanes burned in 1991, opened in 1999 as part of the Commons at Outlook complex near Lowe's. A sale sign now stands outside of the bowling alley. Bowlers, including some who play in Outlook Lanes leagues, say they've heard the business may close by the end of the month. The latest league bowling season ended last week. On Friday, the bowling alley was temporarily closed. Hand-made signs saying "Closed" and "Closed-Mother's Day" hung from the front windows. ...
