May 13--LODI - Grands Amis is French for "great friends."
But to Jonathan and Cathy Wetmore it's more than just a clever name for their winery.
It describes the relationship shared by the two longtime business partners and, since Feb. 22, 2005, marriage partners. It's also the philosophy that drives their Grands Amis Winery in Lodi: sharing great wine over a meal with friends and family.
"We take that very seriously," Jonathan Wetmore said this week.
And this weekend's opening of their new tasting room, the first such facility in downtown Lodi, will give them a chance to share and sell their wine with more ...
