May 11--Sources inform "Globes" that MobilEye Vision Technologies Ltd. recently completed the first part of a large financing round. According to IVC Online's database, the automated on-board driver assistant systems developer has raised $15 million of a planned $30 million round. The company's processor is designed to prevent road accidents.
Mobileye was co-founded in 1999 by chairman and CSO Prof. Amnon Shashua and president and CEO Ziv Amiram. Shashua is also chairman of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem School of Engineering and Computer Science. Amiram previously served as CEO of Keter Publishing House Ltd. (TASE: KETR) and ...
