Latest VC Winner to Remember West Indian War Heroes.

LONDON, May 16 /PRNewswire/ -- It is estimated that over 10,000 West Indian men and women served throughout the world in the British Forces during both world wars. This fact has never been nationally recognised, even though these men and women were often victimized on the very streets they fought to defend.

The war graves of some 300 WW1 veterans lie at Seaford in East Sussex. Alongside the graves of Canadian and British veterans, nineteen graves belong to veterans from the West Indies.
