HEATH Streak admitted today that Warwickshire's remaining C&G Trophy games amount to little more than a chance to get their act together in time for this season's two other one-day competitions.
Three defeats in four games have left the Bears with no hope of finishing top of the northern conference, which is necessary to qualify for the Lord's final.
That their C&G campaign is already dead has a bit to do with the ludicrous format which offers progress to only one of 10 teams. But it has most to do with the untidy cricket they have produced in defeat to Leicestershire, Durham and, crucially on Sunday, at home to ...
