Yangtze Power to issue call warrants to raise USD 844.25 mln

Shanghai. May 16. INTERFAX-CHINA - Yangtze Power, China's largest hydropower generator, has been given the go-ahead to issue 1.228 bln call warrants to outstanding shareholders, the China Securities Regulatory Commission, the stock market watchdog, said.

The warrants, which will later be traded on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE), allows holders to purchase Yangtze Power shares at RMB 5.5 (USD 0.69) per share after 12 months. Yangtze Power was traded at RMB 7.69 (USD 0.96) by mid-trading session on Tuesday at the SSE.
