May 16--With a goal to increase the number of Thai restaurants in Europe by 25 percent to 2,860 this year, the Commerce Ministry yesterday signed a collaboration agreement between its Thai Kitchen to the World programme and l'Institut National des Appellations d'Origine of France.
The two agencies agreed to promote the matching of French wine with Thai dishes during Thaifex World of Food Asia 2006, to be held at the Challenger Hall, Impact Muang Thong Thani, from tomorrow to Sunday.
