SPRINGFIELD - Officials hope the second time's the charm in trying to attract developers to a 47-acre pocket of Glenwood along the Willamette River.
Hoping to spur redevelopment of the northeast part of the mixed-use area between Springfield and Eugene, the Springfield Economic Development Agency is gearing up to recruit developers to bring their business to the district.
"We're looking for something to happen there and we're doing all we can to make it a reality," said John Tamulonis, Springfield's economic development director.
