Winning is everything.
The Colorado Rockies' auspicious start this year is translating into an increase in ticket sales, attendance, television ratings and merchandise purchases, providing at least some relief to a long-struggling ballclub.
The baseball season is a long affair, as Rockies executives are quick to acknowledge, and with a 22-19 record after Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers, it's far too early to draw any conclusions about where the season is headed.
