Evraz's ZSMK set to lose water license June 16
KEMEROVO. May 17 (Interfax) - The Upper Ob River Basin Water Department on Wednesday sent official notification to Evraz Group's West Siberian Iron & Steel Plant (ZSMK) and Eurasian Energy Company (EvrazEK) of the cancellation of their water licenses, a source in the water resource department of the Federal Environmental Monitoring Service's (Rosprirodnadzor) Kemerovo region office told Interfax.
"The companies have been notified that due to non-observance of conditions and requirements set down in their licenses, on June 16 their licenses to use water resources will be annulled," the source said.
