May 18--SAN FRANCISCO -- University of California regents today affirmed their support for embattled President Robert Dynes, saying he would keep his job despite his role in granting lucrative perks and benefits to top officials. Dynes smiled and nodded as regents and UC officials gave him a standing ovation following the announcement.
