I'M not a great fan of people carriers - but the SEAT Alhambra did its best to change my mind.
The big MPV began to convert me as soon as I turned the ignition key.
Featured prominently on a neat digital display was the information that the fuel tank was full and it would be 620 miles before I would need to fill it up again.
The excellent two-litre diesel engine makes this possible through good fuel economy allied to 140bhp that allows the Alhambra to more than hold its own on the road - even when fully loaded.
