May 19--The institution has a new management team composed of 15 members which will have a 12-month mandate. Gilbert Wood is still the head of the institution.
The Foreign Investors Council (FIC) was founded in 1997 and has 105 member companies whose investments add up to 11 billion euros, accounting for 80 percent of foreign investments after 1990. The main mission of the FIC is to create a dialogue between policy makers and the foreign investment community in order to improve the climate for investment in Romania.
