NEW GLARUS -- Through digging up bits of the past, staff at the New Glarus Home have unearthed a clear vision of the future held by residents of the nursing home almost 20 years ago.

The time capsule was buried on May 12, 1987, in belated honor of the New Glarus Home's 20th anniversary. Staff members and residents, some of whom participated in the original ceremony, gathered this week to open the capsule as part of their 40th anniversary celebration.
