FORT COLLINS -- When 9 o'clock rolled around Friday morning, Montrose was ready to hit the water.
Relative to the Indians' success, that's more than could be said for many of the swimmers at the Class 4A state preliminaries at Edora Pool Ice Center.
Montrose had been preparing for the momentous meet by practicing at 7 a.m. during the past week, and the preparation was apparent in their sweeping command of the pool.
