May 21--There is one certainty when it comes to the District 2 baseball playoffs -- there will be plenty of games played.
Just which teams win them can be a mystery once the playoffs begin tomorrow.
The brackets for all four classifications are finally expected to be set this morning. Rain shifted a few regular-season games in both the Wyoming Valley Conference and Lackawanna League to Saturday, delaying the pairings.
Whatever the matchups may be, expect some shockers. Like boys and girls basketball, District 2 runs an open tournament in baseball, meaning any team wanting in gets in.
