When products help people see well, the packaging needs to look good.
Packaging for vision/ ophthalmic products such as eye drops, contact lenses and lens-care materials has to meet a unique set of demands. Like many over-the-counter (OTC) pharmaceuticals, they need to compete on the shelf and instruct consumers on their use--often with extremely limited surface area.
In addition, the concepts of purity and product protection are especially important for ophthalmic products. Both structurally and graphically, the best packaging for such products will reinforce the notion that it's safe to put this stuff in (or near) your eye.
