THE 60TH RUNNING OF the PMCA Production Conference is slated for May 1 to 3 at the Hershey Convention Center and this year's gathering is stacking up to be another record-setter for the 99-year-old association.
The education program gets underway Monday morning with the seventh edition of the "Back to Basic" training series. This year, the production of aerated confections, including nougat, marshmallow, hard candy and taffy, will be covered with live cooking and microscopy demonstrations, video, sampling and a troubleshooting panel discussion.
