Alaska Airlines is giving away 400 pounds of Copper River salmon as prizes in a sweepstakes that promotes the airline's relationship with Alaska's seafood industry.
The contest was open to the general public, and winners will be announced after the fishery begins this month. Each of 20 winners will be sent 20 pounds of fresh Copper River salmon fillets--10 pounds of king and 10 pounds of red salmon--via Alaska Air Cargo's GoldStreak Service.
The sweepstakes' grand prize is an all-inclusive salmon-fishing adventure to the Tsiu River, 100 miles southeast of Cordova.
