Canon Ixus 55
Small, compact and a great snapper for digital photographers
One of the newest additions to Canon's Ixus range, the Ixus 55, offers the large 2.5in display and compact styling of a photography enthusiast's snapper but with all the simplicity of a point-and-shoot camera. It's about the same size as a pack of playing cards and with its brushed metal casing, it feels reassuringly well built.
The Ixus 55 can capture photos at up to 5 megapixels, which means you should be able to print pictures at anything up to A3 size without any discernible loss of quality.
