Always on the lookout for opportunities to socialize and tire my irrepressible cocker spaniel puppy, Vincent, I embraced the invitation to the birthday party of Bailey the beagle.
Vincent (for Lombardi, not Van Gogh) and Bailey met at the airport dog park weeks ago and hit it off in spectacular fashion. What that means in dog park parlance is they would spot each other, then converge to wrestle and sniff. An invitation to a dog party was the natural next step.
