LANSING, Mich., May 24 /PRNewswire/ -- The Michigan Department of Transportation is partnering with Travel Michigan and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation to build universally accessible play areas at the state's two most- visited Welcome Centers. The centers, located in New Buffalo and Monroe, together welcome nearly three million visitors to Michigan each year.
The Welcome Center playgrounds are a continuation of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation's Able to Play project, which built 19 universally accessible play areas throughout the state as part of its 75th anniversary.
