In a minor-league system loaded with high-round picks, bonus babies and the kind of talent that induces foaming at the mouth among scouts, Willy Aybar was always the stealth prospect.
A smallish, middle-infield type from the Dominican Republic, he developed in relative anonymity for six seasons before the Dodgers finally called him up late last year. Since then, Aybar has been anything but invisible. And Saturday, in an 8-4 Dodgers' victory, the Angels got a closer look at him than they ever wanted to.
