Patricia G. (Godwin) Condron of Scranton, Pa., a devoted homemaker and former employee of the Globe Store, died Saturday at the Mercy Hospice in Scranton after a lengthy illness. She was 86.
She was born in Scranton on St. Patrick's Day.
Mrs. Condron was a graduate of St. Ann's Academy and Marywood College.
She worked in the Globe Store lending library prior to the birth of her children.
For many years, Mrs. Condron volunteered in the Mercy Hospital coffee shop and delivered meals to the elderly for Meals on Wheels.
She was an avid quilter, enjoying the camaraderie of her friends while sewing quilts for the family.
