Ahoy, CompuServe users! Here's a first look at an offline navigator.
Information retrieval may be the reason people join online services, but the interface is what keeps them dialing in. Over the years, CompuServe has successfully transformed its venerable DOS-based CompuServe Information Manager (CIM) into an effective Windows-based model (WinCIM), but WinCIM still left a lot to be desired, especially in terms of providing offline reading, and automated message hunting and retrieval.
