May 25--Toddler hit by car in serious condition A 2-year-old girl was upgraded from critical to serious condition Wednesday after being hit by a car in the parking lot of Cash America Pawn, 3498 N. Clinton St. A Fort Wayne Police Department report said a car being driven by a 37-year-old woman struck Mary Ann Hagadorn about 1:20 p.m. The girl's height prevented the driver from seeing her as she backed out of a parking spot, according to the report. The girl's father, who was not named in the report, had parked his van next to the woman's car. Somehow, he and the girl got separated before he entered the pawnshop.

No charges or arrests had been made ...
