THOUSANDS of dedicated Brummies donned their trainers and enjoyed some rare sunshine to take part in BRMB'S Big Brum Walk.
Yesterday's 10-mile trek attracted entrants from across the Midlands who risked blisters, aching legs and swollen feet to help raise cash for good causes.
Now in its 20th year, the event is the offspring of the popular 20-mile Walkathon.
Organised by BRMB, the radio station's DJs took part in the walk to make sure the spirits of fellow walkers stayed high.
Families and walkers in fancy dress were joined by disabled entrants and serious athletes along the route.
