NEW YORK -- A 26-year-old-woman in the communications department of the NASDAQ stock market will be introduced tomorrow (Wednesday) as the 100,000th Taglit-birthright israel participant. Taglit-birthright israel is a program which provides free, first-time peer group educational trips to Israel for Jewish young adults ages 18 to 26. The announcement will take place at a press conference at the Consulate of Israel in New York, 800 2nd Ave on Wednesday, May 31 at 10:30am.
The press conference marks the start of the summer of the 100,000th Taglit-birthright israel participant, when thousands of new participants will travel to Israel for the first time. Celebratory ...
