Would a daff by any other name still smell as sweet? With its undeniable Welsh roots and its pretty golden head nodding demurely in the breeze, the Ffion Hague daffodil has become the latest flower to be named after a public figure at the Chelsea Flower Show.

'It certainly beats having a 32-tonne truck named after you, which was the last thing I had,' said Ffion, referring to her Eddie Stobart namesake.
