SEATTLE, Nov. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- The following was released today by King County Medical Blue Shield: 
Health care reform focuses attention on all types of managed care as the way to control rising costs.  But the costs of taking care of our teeth are often forgotten in the attention paid to the rising costs of taking care of the rest of our body.  In 1992, King County Medical (KCM) paid more than $30 million in dental claims for its subscribers. Beginning Jan. 1, 1994, KCM will offer employers new ways to reduce the costs of their group dental plans, some by 15 to 20 percent.
