Newspaper Audit Reports 98.7 Percent Accuracy in Delivering Pre-Prints in Inaugural Run of Insert Verification Program

CHICAGO, May 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Chicago Tribune today released audit results of its advertising-insert distribution process, a first-ever audit of inserts by the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC). The audit reported that 98.7 percent of all advertising inserts in the Sunday edition of the paper were accurately delivered to the proper customers and were free from any errors, such as missing pieces or incorrect versions.
