May 31, 2006 (New Scientist - ABIX via COMTEX) -- A little caffeine shot is good for babies. Doctors have long given premature babies caffeine to prevent breathing problems caused by apnoea. Now a team from the University of Toronto has found other benefits of the chemical in a study of 2,000 premature babies born at around 27 weeks' gestation.
