Jun. 1--BASEBALL -- Not only did the recently revived amateur baseball Kitty League keep its four first-year programs, but the league will add two more when it starts its second season tonight.Named after the Kentucky-Illinois-Tennessee League that was a professional Class D league in the area the first 50-some years of the 1900s, the latest version of the Kitty League begins a 50-game season with teams consisting of mostly college players.Owensboro and a regional franchise in Carroll County, Tenn., will join last year's teams in Fulton, Ky., Union City, Tenn., Sikeston and Farmington, Mo., this season."Getting Owensboro into our league is a major step forward," ...
