Jun. 1--It's about to get easier to get around Center City on the bus.
The Center City District, partnering with SEPTA and PATCO, will be placing bus route maps in 52 of the city's bus shelters. The color-coded maps will offer information only for Center City bus routes.
The poster-size maps -- displaying routes, connections, bus fares and nearby destinations -- will be installed along Chestnut, Walnut and Market Streets and JFK Boulevard -- from 6th to 20th Streets. The new guides are targeted to help tourists and college students navigate the city and will be completed by Labor Day.
