Jun. 1--The hills will be alive with the sound of music this summer, particularly Festival Hill with its air-conditioned concert hall at the International Festival-Institute at Round Top.
For the 36th season, the gently rolling countryside on the border of the Texas Hill Country will host 80 musicians representing nine countries for a classical music performance.
The students will take master classes from faculty members and be part of chamber music and orchestra concerts.
The most anticipated event is always the patriotic concert sponsored by Blue Bell Creameries; it will take place July 2.
