Jun. 2--Ireland -- one of international rugby's premier teams -- will play the United States at Santa Clara University on Saturday in a match with far-reaching consequences for the sport in this country. The teams will meet in the opening round of the Barclay's Churchill Cup at Buck Shaw Stadium.
