Michael A. Streicher, FASM, died February 14 at the age of 84. For 30 years, from 1949 to 1979, he worked for the DuPont Co. Engineering Dept., Wilmington, Del., where he advanced to the positions of research fellow and principal consultant. For the next eight years Mike served as research professor in the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering, University of Delaware, Newark. Thereafter, he consulted, devoting much attention to containers for the safe storage of nuclear waste.
