Jun. 3--Winter Springs Golf Club has been sold, and the new owners have shuttered the course and dismissed more than two dozen employees. But they promised Friday to renovate and reopen soon. One of the principals of Los Lagos Winter Springs LLC met with Winter Springs city officials and gave assurances they would keep the place as an 18-hole golf course. "My sense is they want to be good citizens," said Winter Springs Mayor John Bush, who met Friday with Arman Rahbarian, a California businessman. Rahbarian referred questions to Christopher Cathcart, a Winter Park attorney who will serve as the property's manager.
