Jun. 3--VIRGINIA BEACH -- Washington fans at the Virginia Beach Convention Center snaked through steel barricades over and over again on Friday to a table for autographs from their favorite players at the Redskins Beach Blitz.
Once quarterback Mark Brunell plopped down at the table, all eyes focused on his bandaged left hand.
"I hope it's just a cut," said a woman wearing a No. 26 Clinton Portis jersey.
It's not. It's a tad more serious.
Brunell is out of commission for 2-3 weeks after breaking the index finger on his throwing hand Wednesday during team drills.
