Jun. 4--TWIN FALLS --There is a saying among some Magic Valley criminal attorneys: If you are charged with homicide, make sure it's not in Twin Falls County. Not including vehicular manslaughter cases, whenever the Twin Falls County prosecutor's office has brought a homicide charge over the past decade, it has obtained a homicide conviction. The charge may drop from first- to second-degree murder or more rarely down to manslaughter and reduce the sentence significantly, but the defendant is still convicted of killing someone. Across the Snake River Canyon, two adjacent counties promise homicide defendants a less certain outcome. ...
