Jun. 5--A two-vehicle wreck on U.S. Highway 59 in Goliad on Friday resulted in the death of a 37-year-old Port Aransas woman.
The wreck occurred at 8 p.m. at mile marker 666, just inside the Goliad city limits, according to the wreck report read by Texas Department of Public Safety communications operator Rhiannon Middleton.
Amber Roberson, 37, of Port Aransas, was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:01 p.m. Roberson was a passenger in a 2003 Ford Mustang driven by Ramiro Ramirez of Goliad.
Middleton said the car was traveling west on U.S. Highway 59 at a high rate of speed. According to the wreck report, the driver changed lanes from the left ...
