TAIPEI, Taiwan -- SigmaTel Inc., (NASDAQ:SGTL), a leader in mixed-signal multimedia solutions, announced that its FM Tuner solution, the STFM1000, has gained traction throughout the Asia-Pacific region with more than 30 customer design wins including customers in Taiwan, Korea, China and Singapore. The STFM1000 is a companion processor for SigmaTel's STMP3500 and STMP3600 families of System on Chip (SoC) portable multimedia solutions and provides optimized radio architecture and support for U.S., Europe, Japan and Asia FM bands.
