Article: Sun sues Azul.(Sun Microsystems Inc.)

Well, Sun has sued Azul.

That's the suit for patent infringement and misappropriation of trade secrets that Azul knew was coming and raced to court six weeks ago--declaratory motion in hand--so it could get its version of the story out first.

Now it's Sun's turn to tell its story and it basically says that Azul stole its products and strategy from Sun so it could get off the ground in 2002 and get to market fast. It wants Azul permanently enjoined. It also wants damages--both actual and punitive.
