This collection of ten articles has an intended audience of "social policy-makers, theoreticians, researchers, students, practitioners, and others in the field" (p. 16). It is probably difficult to tailor articles to such a range of people. For example, all the articles in this collection have extensive lists of references and most have detailed descriptions of the methods the authors used.
