Two San Fernando Valley men have been charged in a $250,000 insurance fraud scheme, accused of billing bogus claims using the names of hundreds of county employees, prosecutors said Wednesday.
Samvel Melkonyan, 48, of Glendale and Tigran Ghalmukhyan, 34, of Van Nuys are suspected of stealing money through false medical billings.
``This is a very serious case,'' said Sandi Gibbons, a spokeswoman for the District Attorney's Office.
